What is the Daddy Daughter Dance?
The Daddy Daughter Dance is an event for fathers and father figures to spend a special evening with their daughters. All father figures are welcome including stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, foster fathers, and other significant male role models. This event is open to Dickinson ISD students in grades kindergarten through 4th grade. This is event hosted by the Dickinson ISD Education Foundation to provide an evening of fun and special memories between fathers and daughters.
Can you provide ticket information?
Tickets are priced at $30 per father/daughter couple. Each additional student ticket is $10. Ticket sales will open on Wednesday, January 4th. Sales will close on Thursday, February 2nd or when tickets sell out - whichever happens first. Space is limited to 800 total guests, and tickets must be purchased online and in advance. (There will be NO tickets sold at the door.)
What should guests wear?
The red carpet is a place for all personalities and styles! If your daughter likes to dress up and wear something formal, then this is the place to do so. If your daughter would rather wear the outfit of her choice, this is the place to do so. This event is not about what you are wearing - this is about daughters spending time and having fun with their father or father figure.
What happens at the Daddy Daughter Dance?
A lot of fun, of course! There will be a DJ to keep guests dancing the night away! When you need a break, there will be activities as well as refreshments and snacks to keep everyone's energy up. There will also be a photo booth to capture the evening and create a keepsake to cherish for years to come.
Will tickets be refunded if guests cannot attend?
All tickets purchased for the Daddy Daughter Dance are final. Refunds will not be issued for any reason other than if the event is cancelled in its entirety.
