WHO WE ARE

 

The Dickinson ISD Education Foundation (DEF) is a non-profit organization established in 2007 dedicated to supporting the students, teachers, and staff of Dickinson ISD. Founded with a vision to enrich and enhance the educational experience, the Foundation partners with the community, local businesses, and district leadership to provide innovative programs and resources that help create opportunities for success. Through the work of our dedicated board members, volunteers, and donors, we aim to inspire learning, empower educators, and uplift every student in our district.

The mission of the Dickinson ISD Education Foundation is to provide a relationship to our donors, volunteers, and the community to empowers students and fosters excellence in learning.

 

WHAT WE DO

For the past 18 years, the Dickinson ISD Education Foundation has been a proud advocate for public education. We provide funding for innovative programs and initiatives that enhance the educational experience for both students and staff. By working alongside educators and district leadership, we identify areas where additional resources can make a significant impact, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive academically and personally. Since 2007, the foundation has provided over $2 million in support to the district. Through our work, we aim to foster a culture of excellence and support the success of every learner in Dickinson ISD.
