Digital Commercials for Books

At McAdams Junior High, librarian and grant recipient Cheryl Tippit is transforming the library experience with a digital signage display placed right outside the library doors in the main hallway! This allows students, staff, and visitors to easily see what’s happening in the library.

With this display, the library can spotlight new book arrivals, promote library programs and events, share reading recommendations like “Book of the Week,” and even showcase student work, helping build pride and excitement around literacy.

The Motion Commotion: A Motor Lab for Growing Minds

At Hughes Road Elementary, the motor lab provides students with a safe, structured space to move, reset, and prepare their minds and bodies for learning. For many students, particularly those with sensory needs, this lab is where they learn to regulate their emotions, build coordination, and return to the classroom focused and ready to succeed.

An expanded motor lab allows Hughes Road Elementary to better serve its students by providing equipment and tools that support motor development, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning. This investment will create a lasting, campus wide impact on student readiness and success.
