Dickinson ISD is a growing suburban school district located in northern Galveston County, situated halfway between Houston and Galveston on I-45. Covering over 68 square miles, its boundaries encompass the entire communities of Dickinson, Bacliff, San Leon and parts of League City and Texas City.
There are over 12,500 students in Dickinson ISD, of which about half utilize the District’s transportation. A fleet of 150 buses is used to serve16 campuses.
The department provides fuel and maintenance for the district’s fleet of 150 vehicles representing the following departments: Operations, Child Nutrition, Technology, and Transportation.
