It is the mission of the athletic program to supplement the educational process of the student-athletes at Dickinson ISD. The program will provide opportunities for these athletes to participate and succeed in athletic competition, while assisting them in their academic endeavors. Participants will be taught character, work ethic, discipline, values of right and wrong, team concepts, community service, and sportsmanship in an arena that will prepare them for future life experiences. Coaches will also help athletes to set future goals and will assist them in becoming responsible,  productive citizens.
