The Lady Gator Softball teams are compiled of female student-athletes in grades 9-12 who compete on the JV and Varsity level. Our season begins in mid-January and district play concludes on April 19th. Games and tournaments take place on Tuesday's, Friday's, and some on weekends. The softball team practices every day after school at the DHS Softball field. The Lady Gator's are led by Head Coach Jaclyn Molenaar and Assisted by Coach Rob Blankenship and Hannah Whelton.

Physical Information:

Physicals are required for all athletes during the 2023-2024 school year
You must have a current physical on file with the athletic trainer prior to the first day of practice/tryouts

Date- September 5th, 2023
Time- 3:30pm
Location- DHS Softball Field

Fall Ball Games:

Fall Ball Games will start on September 11th
Games will be played on Monday's ONLY
Our game schedule with times/location will be posted here after tryouts conclude

Tryout Dates:

Day 1: January 12th, 2024
Day 2: January 13th, 2024

Tryout Times:

January 12th: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
January 13th: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Additional Information:

Physicals will be required for the 2023-2024 school year. Athletes must have a current physical on file prior to the first day of tryouts (January 12th)
Athletes must be academically eligible to tryout (passed all classes NW2)
Athletes must attend BOTH days of tryouts
