To Our Supporters:
The Dickinson ISD Education Foundation has experienced new challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic; however, we are committed to our mission and will strive for a better tomorrow. With sponsorships and supporters we are able to provide the Dickinson Independent School District with Innovative Teaching Grants, Scholarships, and Recognition Programs that promote success for our staff and students.
As we are unable to host our Thirteenth Annual Fundraising Gala, we will host our first “Better Tomorrow” Fundraising Campaign from April 26 - May 7, 2021. Throughout the campaign, we invite you to learn more about how the foundation’s funding has made an impact this year, as well as upcoming initiatives that you can help support. This campaign will be visible on our website, as well as our social media channels. There will also be a silent auction available on the campaign website between April 26 - May 7.
Here is how our campaign will work:
• Support by selecting a level of giving
• Return your form including payment by mail in the enclosed envelope or make your payment online
• Participate in our silent auction
The Dickinson ISD Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2007 to create support for the enrichment programs for students and staff within the Dickinson Independent School District. The foundation provides funds for educational programs and activities which either have not been funded or have been underfunded by the normal operating budget. These funds are used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence, and to expand community involvement of individuals, businesses, and civic organizations. For the 2020-2021 school year, the foundation awarded over $139,160 in innovative teaching grants and $67,000 in student scholarships to graduating seniors.
We are grateful for your support of Gator Nation and hope you will join us on our mission to make a Better Tomorrow for all our 11,500 students.
Respectfully,
Diane Mackey, Board President
Dickinson ISD Education Foundation President
