Dickinson ISD to dedicate McAdams Junior High band hall in honor of Wade McDonald
Please join us in congratulating retired DISD music educator Wade McDonald on being recognized by the Dickinson ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent Carla Voelkel on August 29.
Wade was recognized in honor of his induction to the Phi Beta Mu Texas Bandmaster’s Hall of Fame this past June. He was awarded the Big Impact employee recognition award.
Following the recognition, Superintendent Carla Voelkel made a recommendation to the Board to rename the McAdams Junior High band hall “The Wade McDonald Band Hall” honoring Mr. McDonald's impact on the students and staff of Dickinson ISD.
The district will have a dedication later this school year at McAdams Junior High. Please join us in congratulating Mr. McDonald on this wonderful achievement.
