Gator Book Buddy Program

Calling All Dickinson ISD Alumni, Parents, and Community Members: Reconnect, Inspire, and Make a Difference!

Dickinson ISD is excited to introduce the Gator Book Buddy Program—an opportunity for alumni, parents, and community members to read to students during their library visits.

This program is designed to foster connections between our schools and the broader community. Whether you're a former student, a proud parent, or a dedicated community member, you can make a lasting impact by sharing your love for reading and engaging with our students.

How the Program Works:

• Volunteers will be invited to visit our schools on special days set by the librarians.
• You'll have the chance to read to elementary and middle school students during their library time, helping to create a fun and meaningful experience.

Program Launch:

• The program is set to begin mid-September at both elementary and middle schools.

By volunteering, you'll help create positive memories for students while building a stronger connection with the Gator community. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our students!
