At Monday night’s Board Meeting, President Dave Swartz announced his resignation from the Dickinson ISD Board of Trustees. Mr. Swartz, who serves Single Member District 7, is relocating outside the Dickinson community. He has served on the Board of Trustees since May 2016, and he has served as Board President since May 2018. 

Mr. Swartz loves Gator Nation and public education, and we are truly grateful for the years of dedicated service he has provided to the students and employees of our district and the Dickinson community. His presence on the Board of Trustees and in the district will be missed.  We extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to Mr. Swartz and his wife, Jean.
