Limited Open Enrollment for Students in Grades Pre-k through 12th Grade

Dickinson ISD will be offering a "limited open enrollment" application process for 2025-2026 to allow out of district students to enroll in Dickinson ISD. This application must be completed by a parent or guardian of student wishing to transfer into Dickinson ISD. Limited open enrollment is open to students in Pre-K through 12th grade. 

 

       

 

Important Details:

Eligibility: The program is open to non-resident students. Limited enrollment is based on classroom space and teacher availability. Students in pre-k must meet the state requirements for Pre-k enrollment in order to apply.

Pre-K Eligibility: English

Pre-K Eligibility: Spanish

Transportation: Transportation is not provided.

Application Process: Please complete the Limited Open Enrollment Application above.  Applicants can designate their top three school choices.

Yearly Review: Students must apply every year. Grades, discipline, and attendance will be reviewed each year. 

Criteria: Enrollment decisions will be based on previous year attendance, behavior, and academic performance.

Do I need an affidavit? Families who live outside of Dickinson ISD do not need an affidavit for Limited Open Enrollment.
