New Student Enrollment (no children currently enrolled in DISD):
Step 1: Request a Skyward account. Click here to request a Skyward account.
Step 2: You will receive an email from Skyward with login information and link to the enrollment application. Click the link to the Skyward enrollment application and enter your Login ID and password from the email. If you did not receive an email from Skyward, please contact the campus registrar. Click to view campus contact information. Be sure to enter the student's full legal name as it is printed on the birth certificate. Applicants must complete all steps of the application. Step 3: Gather required documents for enrollment.
• Student’s Birth Certificate
• Immunization Record
• Proof of Residency - current utility bill (electric, gas, or water) or lease/mortgage/tax statement in parent’s name.
• Valid parent ID (Driver License, passport, or military ID)
• Student’s Medication information, if applicable
• Student’s Social Security Card (OPTIONAL, but needed if SSN was used at a previous district.)
• Court paperwork for Guardianship(s), if applicable. If student isn't living with legal parent or guardian, a power of attorney may be required. Click to view more information about Power of Attorney.
• Complete copy of Divorce/Custody documents (all pages), if applicable
• Special Education/Section 504 information, if applicable
• Copy of last report card if the student is transferring from another District, as well as the name, address and phone number of the last school attended
• High School students are asked to bring a copy of their unofficial transcript and/or a copy of their last report card to assist with the selection of courses.
