Five Dickinson ISD campuses have been recognized by the Texas School Counselor Association (TSCA) with the prestigious 2025 CREST Counseling Award, honoring comprehensive, data-driven counseling programs that positively impact students and school communities.

Dickinson High School, Dickinson Junior High School, Hughes Road Elementary, K.E. Little Elementary, and Calder Road Elementary have each been named Texas Model School Counseling Programs through TSCA’s CREST (Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas) awards process.

The CREST designation recognizes campuses whose counseling programs demonstrate strong leadership, intentional advocacy, and a clear commitment to meeting the academic, social-emotional, and college-and-career readiness needs of all students. TSCA noted the powerful impact of these campuses’ comprehensive counseling efforts and the meaningful difference they make for students, staff, and the broader community.

Award recipients will be formally honored during the annual Texas School Counselor Association Conference, scheduled for February 1–3.
