Dickinson ISD students demonstrated exceptional focus, strategy, and sportsmanship at Saturday’s District Chess Tournament, where competitors from across the district gathered for a full day of challenging and exciting matches. The event highlighted the growing interest and talent in chess throughout the district and reflected the hard work students and coaches have invested this year.
DISD extends a sincere thank-you to Dr. Clinch, District Chess Lead, for organizing a well-run and engaging tournament that provided meaningful opportunities for students to develop critical thinking and competitive skills.
