Pre-K & Kindergarten Early Enrollment is Almost Here!
Dickinson ISD is excited to welcome new students for the 2025–2026 school year with a 2-step early enrollment process for Pre-K and Kindergarten!

Step 1:
April 21 – May 2
Complete online enrollment at www.dickinsonisd.org

Step 2:
May 2 – Attend the Pre-K & Kinder Early Enrollment Event
Event Times: 8–11:30 a.m. & 12–3 p.m.
Location: Dickinson ISD Education Support Center
2218 FM 517 East, Dickinson

Who’s Eligible?

Kindergarten: Must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025
Pre-K:

Must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025 and meet one of the following:
Limited English proficiency
Low income (qualifies for national lunch program)
Homeless (as defined by federal law)
Military child (active duty, injured, or fallen)
In foster care or adopted from foster care
Child of a peace officer, firefighter, or EMT eligible for the Star of Texas Award
What to Bring to the Event:
Birth certificate
Immunization record
Parent ID (state ID, driver’s license, or passport)
Proof of residency (utility bill, lease, mortgage, etc.)
Social security card (optional but helpful)
Custody papers (if applicable)
Documentation supporting Pre-K qualification (if enrolling in Pre-K)
Language testing will be administered on May 3 for applicable students.

Don’t worry! If you miss the early enrollment event, your next chance will be during centralized enrollment on July 31 or August 1.
