During his 15 years of teaching, Mr. Trahan has conducted both bands and choirs at all levels in public education. Under Mr. Trahan’s direction, ensembles have received numerous awards, including Superior ratings at the University Scholastic League Competitions. In addition, Mr. Trahan continues this standard of excellence by adjudicating across Texas for various choir and vocal solo/ensemble competitions.

Mr. Trahan earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Education from Lamar University and Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Mr. Trahan is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program at Lamar University for Global Educational Leadership. Professionally, Mr. Trahan holds membership in the following organizations: Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Choral Directors Association, Texas Music Administrators Conference, Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, Texas Music Adjudicators Association, and Phi Mu Alpha-Professional Music Fraternity.

Mr. Trahan is most proud to be married to his supportive wife, Kristi Trahan, who also serves the students of Dickinson as a High School Science Teacher. Together they have two outstanding young boys Aiden and Kai.
