Young athletes brought energy and excitement to Sam Vitanza Stadium for the Bayou Football Camp, a free community event focused on skill development, competition and building confidence through the game of football.
The camp was led by Micah Barnett and supported by former players and volunteers who spent the day working with campers through drills, instruction and football-related activities. Participants had the opportunity to learn new skills, compete alongside their peers and grow their love for the game in a positive environment.
Events like the Bayou Football Camp provide a meaningful opportunity for young athletes to connect with mentors, learn from former players and experience the value of teamwork, hard work and community support.
Dickinson ISD appreciates everyone who helped make this camp possible and thanks Barnett, the former players and volunteers for giving back to the community.
