**School Bus Drivers Wanted!**
Dickinson ISD Transportation Department is hosting a Ride and Drive Hiring Event on Thursday, June 1 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Dickinson High School.
Have you ever considered being a school bus driver, but don’t know very much about how a school bus works or drives? This is your chance to put your skills to the test. Our transportation staff will provide some in-depth instruction on what it takes to drive the bus, and you’ll be able to take a bus for a drive in our parking lot under staff supervision. Bring your driver’s license and wear closed toed shoes in order to participate. You do not need to be certified to drive a bus for this event.
Dickinson ISD proudly offers a competitive starting pay of $21.50 per hour for bus drivers.
