The 1999 Bond money was used to:
- Construct Bay Colony Elementary School, K. E. Little Elementary School and Dunbar Middle School
- Renovate and make additions to Hughes Road Elementary and Silbernagel Elementary Schools
- Renovate Barber Middle School to accommodate 5th grade students • Additions and renovations to Dickinson High School
In May of 2005, voters approved an $85 million bond issue in two propositions. The first proposition called for $72 million, to be used to construct a new elementary school, a new 5th to 6th grade campus, a new junior high school, a new agricultural science facility, a new transportation facility and to purchase buses, repair and upgrade existing facilities, and to purchase property for future school sites. Proposition two called for $13 million to be used to construct a new stadium. This facility will be build at the high school campus just north of the current field house and track.
