Welcome to the Dickinson Gators baseball page. The Gators have won more than 20 games in each of the past 2 seasons (21-9-2 in 2017 & 20-11-1 in 2018), won a District Championship for the first time in 25 years in 2017, and won Bi-District two years (2017 & 2018)in a row for the first time in 25 years. We are excited about the upcoming 2019 season and hope to see you at the ballpark.

Tryout Information

Tryout Date:      Friday, January 25

Time:                  5pm sharp (be at the field by 4:30 to warm-up) till 7pm

Needs:                -You’ll need a bat, glove, and spikes or cleats

                           -A physical on file in the trainer’s office.  Get a physical form

from the trainer’s office before going to get a physical.  The doctor will fill out the form.  Then, return it to the trainer’s office.

-Physicals need to be on file by 2:25pm Thursday, January 24

-Athletes who are currently participating in a sport will already have a physical on file.

Appearance:        Shorts, baseball pants, or sweats (it’ll probably be cold).  Hats

                           are optional.

Grades:              Students must be eligible in order to try out.  To be eligible, the student should have passed all of their courses                           at NW2 (or the 2nd 9 Weeks) or, if the student failed a course at NW2, passing all of their courses by Friday,                                 January 25.

Open Field:         -The field will be open from 2:25 to 4pm every day after school in order for the participants to have an                                          opportunity to prepare for tryouts. Baseballs are provided.

                           -You must have a physical on file in order to participate in “open field.”

                  - 5 All-Galveston County Selections (2017) - the most in the programs history
