Recently, the Dickinson ISD Education Foundation awarded nearly $150,000 in teaching grants during the foundation’s annual Prize Parade. Teachers and staff were surprised with a big check in their classrooms and on campus by district and campus administrators, corporate sponsors, and the Dickinson High School cheerleaders.
Ranging from $600 - $10,000, each teaching grant will be used to start a new innovative program or purchase new equipment or instructional materials for their classrooms.
