Useful Sources for Keeping Your Computer Up-to-Date

The sources on this page are intended to help you take ownership of your computer's performance. These updates cannot currently be pushed down to your machine from technology, so we need your help in keeping your computer in tip top shape.

Windows Updates should be performed monthly. The updates Java, Flash, Reader, and Shockwave will all help your Internet experience go more smoothly and are necessary for all of the web based tools we use.

The Dickinson ISD Technology Department would like to thank Angela Crawford of Barber Middle School for putting together these modules as part of her coursework for her Master's Degree in Instructional Technology.

These tutorials were created using the Inter Write Workspace Record and Playback tool. To create your own screencasts, click here in DISD for instructions in vBrick.
