STEM Academy expanding 5th grade program to all Dickinson ISD middle schools
12/17/2020

Exciting changes are coming to the Dickinson ISD STEM Academy in 2021-2022 with the district expanding the fifth grade program to up to 300 students throughout all three Dickinson ISD middle schools. Fifth grade students accepted into the program will attend the STEM Academy at their home middle school instead of being bused to Barber Middle School.

The programs for current STEM students who will be in grades 6-9 in 2021-2022 are not changing. These programs will remain the same at Barber Middle School, Kranz Junior High and Dickinson High School.

Each individual STEM Academy will continue to be an advanced academic program that retains the level of rigor and academic excellence that is the heart of the current program.
