Dickinson ISD is continually looking for new and innovative ways to keep parents, employees and the community informed about school district news. With this in mind, the district is preparing to launch a new communication tool called Peachjar. This platform enables the district to send important school and community flyers to parents digitally, saving the schools time, money, and paper. In this time of COVID-19, with some students working remotely, it also ensures parents get information traditionally shared by sending home paper flyers.

School-approved digital flyers will be sent to email inboxes so parents can easily click to sign up for events and programs. No more rifling through binders to find this helpful information. In addition, Peachjar will allow us to offer this digital service to community organizations. In the past, Dickinson ISD only allowed community groups to place a small stack of flyers on an information table in the school’s front foyer.

No action is required to begin receiving this communication from your school. Parents will receive a welcome email from Peachjar with more information. If parents wish to manage their account preferences, they may do so with the login information that will be provided. To ensure you don’t miss notifications, add school@peachjar.com to your email contacts and click “always display images” when you receive your first email. 

Business/Community Organizations

Distributing flyers through Peachjar is easy! Upon launch, you can register at www.peachjar.com as a program provider and select the school(s) for distribution. At checkout, Peachjar will charge a small fee to submit your PDF flyer but it is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.

Once your flyer is approved by the district, it will be emailed to parents and posted to each school’s website. You can even view metrics to see how your flyer is performing. Parents can view flyers on the go, share them on social media or sent them to a friend. You can even view metrics to see how you flyer is performing.
