NSF Check Collection

Dickinson ISD utilizes CheckSmart check recovery service to collect on checks returned due to insufficient funds.
CheckSmart will charge a $30 fee (plus tax) for checks returned for insufficient funds. CheckSmart will attempt collection by writing letters and/or telephoning the check writer. Insufficient checks and fees shall be paid to CheckSmart over the phone by credit card, debit card or electronic check; by mail with a money order or cashier’s check; or in person at any Money Gram location.
